Whenever I'm asked about advice on how to start or how to keep lifestyle habits that are more socially or environmentally conscious, I talk about these three points.
A snapshot of interesting sustainable, social and ethical finds from my recent visit to New York.
Hello! I’ve been so busy in the last week preparing to travel to New York, then adjusting to being here that it’s taken far to long to get back here to the blog and update with what’s happening!
A few weeks ago I made a very 'not me' decision and bought tickets 6 weeks out to go to New York to visit my supremely cool sister who lives there now. On one hand, totally fine. On the other, totally crazy!
Through lovely coincidence, I heard about a great project called Otter last week. Otter is a fresh initiative from Ethical Consumers Australia, and is a simple tool to spread the word about safe, green and fair consumer options.
Here's my collection of inspiring and fun things from the week!
I'm sometimes wary about writing too big an essay here about the theory of sustainable and ethical living (I'm more of a fan of face-to-face conversations), but I also want to make sure we keep discussing these ideas as a community of like-minded people. Would you join me in this?
My first exposure to the idea of ethical and sustainable consumer options came through hearing about the Fair Trade movement.
